LAKELAND, FL: Vickie King, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, CSI CDT, has joined The Lunz Group, a national architectural and interior design firm, as a Studio Director for our Lakeland, FL office.
Mrs. King joined The Lunz Group in May of 2021 as a Studio Director and will work to drive improvement, efficiency, and effectiveness in production, as well as meeting project profitability. She excels in providing clear constructive direction on design solutions and managing personnel needs and scheduling.
Vickie has over 29 years’ experience in architecture with a primary focus in healthcare, multi-family and senior living facilities. She previously worked as head of architecture process and planning at a large multi-family architecture firm in Dallas, Texas where she oversaw quality management, digital practice and resource planning. In addition, she also holds an architecture license in FL and TX and is AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, and CSI CDT accredited. Mrs. King is currently working towards adding a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt along with her long list of licenses. While this is significantly used in healthcare, it will also be used to improve performance and processes at The Lunz Group.
Based out of the firm’s Lakeland office, Mrs. King will focus on contributing to business development and marketing efforts, as well as supporting and maintaining client contact and relationships. One of her first initiatives upon joining the firm will be to implement and oversee all production policies and processes while providing oversight and leadership for all phases of work, and overall quality control.
