The Lunz Group Reps Polk County on GrowFL’s Companies to Watch List

In an article featured on the Central Florida Development Council’s website, The Lunz Group has been honored as one of GrowFL’s 50 Companies to Watch – and is the only business from Polk County to be recognized.

The article goes on to highlight The Lunz Group’s significant growth in the last three years, about 35 percent a year since Brad Lunz became president of the company. The honor reflects our enormous growth while still staying true to our company core values.

According to Brad Lunz, the honor is more than about the firm.

“[The honor] sets us apart. It showcases that we are not just about the growth itself, the economics, but growth of our individual team members,” he said. “Having economic growth creates more seats on the bus and more specialized seats on the bus. As [our employees] grow, they can move into something they really love and are passionate about.”

What also sets the firm apart? That everyone at the firm feels heard and has a voice.

“Design by nature embraces diversity. We practice inclusiveness because we want everyone’s voice to be heard,” he said. This helps to avoid potential potholes later on in design and often leads to a better product.

The article goes on to highlight significant moments in the last year for the company, including the merger with Lakeland-based firm WMB-ROI, completing the design for THE LEGO® MOVIE™ World, and beginning to work on NOAA Phase II expansion at Lakeland Linder International Airport (check out the Aircraft Operations Center project here).
