In an article published on Ballpark Digest, construction continues at the Dunedin Stadium for the renovation and upgrades coming in time for the Toronto Blue Jays Spring 2020 training season.
In addition to the massive renovation occurring at the stadium, the off-site Player Development Complex is also a part of the larger facility renovation project. The Lunz Group is serving as the local architect on the project, working with national design firm Populous to complete the anticipated $102 million project renovations by the start of spring training.
Upgrades to the complex include three new full-sized additional training fields (making for six fields total), a new two-story clubhouse, administrative building, and more. When complete this project should bring the Blue Jays’ previously outdated spring-training facilities in line with modern expectations for fan and player amenities.
