Project Architect

The Lunz Group is seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual that thrives in a creative and collaborative setting to join our team in Central Florida. Currently, we are in search of a licensed Architect with 8+ years of experience to lead a team and manage projects through every phase, from schematic design to construction documentation and administration. The Project Architect builds the appropriate team, including internal designers and external consultants, and supervises design and technical delivery.

  • Participates in conceptual design and provides full support through the entire project.
  • Serves as Subject Matter Expert to the team on specialized systems and projects.
  • Liaises with Project Manager, other architects, and consultants.
  • Manages internal and external team members.
  • Builds appropriate project team including outside consultants.
  • Develops and represents lead technical viewpoints on projects. Coordinates with leadership on technical solutions and strategies.
  • Ensures quality of project deliverables meets or exceeds firm standards.
  • Manages multiple projects varying in size.
  • Directly supervises project teams’ design and technical delivery.
  • Developing efficiencies in the delivery of projects and on target.
  • Responsible for all phases of a project from design through construction administration.
  • Manage ambiguity, complexity, inspire confidence through purposeful use of resources and time.
  • Lead, manage, and accountable for direct reports’ professional development.
  • Strives to positively impact the culture through core values and servant leadership.

 

Qualification and Requirements of Project Manager: 

  • Master of Architecture or equivalent.
  • Registered Architect in the US preferred but not required with relevant experience (10+ years.)
  • Minimum of 8+ years of architecture experience.
  • Ability to secure repeat business.
  • Meeting or exceeding project WBS.
  • Experience in Deltek preferred.
  • Experience in multi-family, mixed-use, workplace, distribution/logistics, healthcare, higher education, public/civic/government work, aviation & aerospace, and/or hospitality preferred.
  • Proficiency in Revit Architecture, AutoCAD, Architecture, BIM 360, and Bluebeam
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
