The Donald R. Tapia New School of Business at Saint Leo University will house a piece of Saint Leo history. During the dedication of the building on October 15, 2011, a time capsule will be placed in the floor of the covered event patio on the northeast corner of the building.
The lid of the time capsule has been custom designed by Creative Sandblasting of Plant City Florida. The crest of Saint Leo University has been etched into glass and encased within a L.E.D. lit frame. The lid of the time capsule will weigh about 700 pounds and be permanently sealed by a time capsule specialist at a later time.
