The Lunz Group has been named a 2020 Tampa Bay Business Journal Fast 50. This prestigious designation recognizes the firm as one of Tampa Bay’s fastest growing, privately-held companies.
“We are honored to receive the designation as a Fast 50 company in our region,” President & CEO Brad Lunz said. “For more than 30 years our firm has had the privilege to grow alongside our clients, our partners and our community. This recognizes their growth as much as ours.”
Eligibility for Fast 50 companies is based on annual revenue, headquarters location, and percentage of annual growth over a three-year period. Combined, this year’s honorees listed had a combined $1.8B in revenue for 2019 and employed more than 4,400 local professionals. Of those listed, The Lunz Group employs 50 talented individuals locally and our team continues to grow, despite the unexpected hurdles experienced in 2020.
“Our team has repeatedly grown and innovated as we continue to navigate business during COVID-19,” Mr. Lunz says. “In March, our firm enacted remote work across all offices to help minimize risk for spreading the virus.”
It was during this time that our thoughts shifted to focus on our clients rather than just the project at hand, Mr. Lunz explains.
“We credit a lot of how we continue to work during this tumultuous time to that change in perspective – from less about us, to more about our communities. At this time, more than 80 percent of our workforce continues to work remotely, and we continue to bring in more projects daily,” Mr. Lunz says.
The Lunz Group was one of three businesses representing Polk County in this year’s Fast 50 list. AgAmerica Lending, one of our workspace clients, as well as Olympus Pools, also made the list.
This year’s Fast 50 recognition is just one many titles The Lunz Group has received as recognized by our communities, peers, clients and partners.
